Our History and Approach
Established in 2018, Rhetoricbyte was founded to bridge the gap between high-end commercial production and accessible studio services. We operate on the principle that great photography is the result of meticulous preparation and technical reliability. Over the years, we have refined our processes to ensure that every client, from a corporate executive to a local artisan, receives imagery that accurately represents their professional identity.
Our work is grounded in transparency and technical standards. We do not rely on trends; instead, we focus on lighting geometry, composition, and precise post-production. This approach allows us to serve a diverse range of needs, including corporate headshots, product catalogs, and family archives, while maintaining a cohesive standard of quality.
Studio Infrastructure
Our facility in Edmonton is designed for versatility and comfort. The 120 m² space includes a professional white cyclorama wall, allowing for seamless backgrounds in product and portrait work. With a ceiling height of 4.5 meters, we can implement complex lighting schemes that are often impossible in smaller studios.
To ensure a professional experience, we provide a private dressing room for clients to prepare. Our lighting inventory consists of both Profoto impulse and continuous lighting, ensuring that we can match the specific requirements of any project, whether it is high-speed freeze-frame photography or soft, cinematic portraiture. Consultation
We define the technical requirements, mood boards, and final delivery formats to ensure alignment before the shoot.
Production
The session is conducted in our controlled environment using professional lighting and direction.
Selection & Retouching
Clients select their preferred frames, which are then processed by our retouching lead.
