Corporate Portraits

Establishing professional visual identity for Edmonton businesses through structured studio photography. We provide consistent, high-quality headshots that align with your corporate brand guidelines.

Book a Session

In the modern business environment, a professional image serves as a primary touchpoint between a company and its clients. Whether for a LinkedIn profile, a corporate "About Us" page, or annual reports, the visual representation of your team communicates reliability and competence before a single word is spoken. Our approach to corporate photography focuses on neutrality, clarity, and a timeless aesthetic that remains relevant as your company grows.

Operating from our 120 m² studio in Downtown Edmonton, we provide a controlled environment where lighting and composition are precisely managed. We understand that many professionals find being photographed stressful; therefore, our process is designed to be efficient and relaxed, ensuring that the final images reflect a natural yet polished version of each team member. We work with individuals and large teams to create a cohesive visual library.

Who is this service for?

Our corporate portrait sessions are designed for a wide range of professional needs. Small business owners in Edmonton who need to humanize their brand, law firms requiring a formal and authoritative look, and tech startups seeking a modern, approachable image all utilize our services. We also cater to independent consultants and freelancers who require a professional headshot for their digital presence.

For larger organizations, we provide a streamlined system for photographing entire departments. This ensures that every employee, regardless of their rank, is represented with the same lighting and quality, creating a unified corporate appearance across all digital platforms. We can handle schedules for multiple people in a single day to minimize disruption to your business operations.

How the workflow operates

The technical side of our work relies on a combination of impulse and continuous lighting to create depth and dimension without harsh shadows. We use a professional white cyclorama wall for a clean, commercial look, or neutral backdrops for a more traditional corporate feel. Each session is paced to allow the subject to feel comfortable, as forced expressions rarely result in a professional image.

Once the shooting phase is complete, our head of retouching, Lauren Brown, manages the post-production. We avoid over-processing; our goal is to remove temporary blemishes and correct color balance while maintaining the authentic appearance of the person. This ensures that the person in the photo is recognizable in real life, which is critical for building trust in business relationships.

Client preparation guide

To achieve the most professional result, we recommend choosing clothing in solid colors. Avoid very fine stripes or complex patterns, as these can create a "moire" effect in digital images. Neutral tones, deep blues, and charcoal greys typically work best across all industries. We suggest bringing two options of attire if you are unsure which one aligns better with your brand.

Since we have a private dressing room in our studio, you can change comfortably on-site. We recommend arriving with hair and makeup already completed, though we can provide a mirror and basic grooming tools for final adjustments. For teams, we suggest coordinating the general level of formality (e.g., all in business casual) to maintain visual consistency across the team gallery.

Deliverables and output

Upon completion, clients receive a set of digital files. These include high-resolution JPEG images for printing (such as brochures or office plaques) and optimized versions for web use (LinkedIn, company website, email signatures). All files are delivered via a secure online gallery that remains active for 6 months, allowing you to download the images as needed.

The standard delivery includes professional retouching on the selected frames. This involves skin tone evening, stray hair removal, and brightness adjustments. While we provide the final JPEGs, RAW files are not included in the standard package but can be discussed as a separate agreement. All photos are illustrative of the quality we provide across our corporate portfolio.

Timelines and delivery

We value efficiency in business. The initial selection gallery is typically available within a few business days after the session. Once you have selected your final images for retouching, the final delivery occurs within 10 working days. This timeframe allows our retouching team to ensure every detail meets our quality standards.

For urgent requests, we can discuss expedited delivery, though our standard 10-day window is designed to prevent errors in post-production. We recommend booking your session at least two weeks in advance, especially for larger teams, to ensure we can allocate the necessary studio time.

What is not included

To maintain transparency, it is important to note what our standard corporate package does not cover. We do not provide professional makeup artists or wardrobe stylists; these must be arranged by the client. Additionally, any extensive digital manipulation—such as changing the background color after the shoot or altering physical features—is considered advanced retouching and is subject to additional fees.

Travel to your office location is not included in the studio price. If you require an on-site shoot at your business premises in Edmonton, a separate quote will be provided based on the equipment transport and setup time. Our standard pricing assumes the use of our Downtown studio facilities.

Pricing and VAT structure

Our pricing is transparent and based on the number of people photographed. For B2B clients, we offer a payment term of 14 days upon receipt of the invoice. All prices are listed with the Alberta provincial sales tax (GST) of 13% included for clarity. If your company is registered for tax recovery, we provide the price excluding VAT on the final invoice.

For a detailed breakdown of how we calculate costs for larger teams or recurring needs, we invite you to read our guide on photography costs. All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions, including the required deposit for securing the studio date.
